Tbilservice Group has commenced the installation of electronic timers on the outdoor lighting systems of sports fields across the capital. Utilizing time relays, these timers will automatically switch off the outdoor lighting at mini-stadiums after midnight. This initiative aims to minimize nighttime disturbances for local residents while also conserving electricity costs.

The rollout of electronic timers will be implemented gradually across 693 sports fields in Tbilisi. During the installation phase, the outdoor lighting at specific locations will operate in test mode, activated only during daylight hours.

The decision to install these timers stems from numerous requests, appeals, and written statements from the local population, highlighting the community's desire for reduced nighttime disturbances and energy conservation.
