In connection with the World Day of Environmental Protection, Tbilisi City Hall "Tbilservice Group" LLC and "Ecoservice Group" LLC are conducting a large-scale action to organize and clean up the green cover in the vicinity of the Turtle Lake. "Ecoservice Group" is carrying out the work of pruning and mowing the grass on the green slopes around the Turtle Lake. Employees of "Tbilservice Group" will clean the metioned area within two days.

Director of "Tbilservice Group" Davit Pachulia, Governor of Vake District Davit Kvinikadze and Deputy Director of "Ecoservice Group" Vakhtang Talakhadze got acquainted with the progress of the works. "June 5 is an important day in terms of raising public awareness in the direction of environmental protection. That's why we chose this day for large-scale works, to once again call on citizens to take care of the environment and not litter recreational spaces. In total, 130 employees and 11 units of special vehicles are involved in the event," said Davit Pachulia. The World Environment Day, initiated by the United Nations, has been celebrated since 1972.
