In connection with the International Day of Protection of Water Resources, a cleaning action was held on one of the sections of the Tbilisi Sea coast.

The employees and director of LLC "Tbilservice Group". Davit Pachulia, Deputy Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture Solomon Pavliashvili, representatives of "Green Movement of Georgia" and the chairman of the said organization Nino Chckobadze took part in the environmental activity.

"As you know, Tbilisi Sea is the most important reservoir for the capital, and we systematically clean the coastline. This time, we cleaned one of the sections of the Tbilisi sea coast in connection with the International Day of Protection of Water Resources. We will certainly plan similar actions in the future. Day of protection of water resources is important for conducting environmental activities and raising public awareness in this regard," said Davit Pachulia.

Similar events, except for the capital, are planned in different municipalities of Georgia throughout the week. The International Day for the Protection of Water Resources has been celebrated worldwide since 1993.
