Due to heavy snowfall over the past two days, the relevant services of the Tbilisi City Hall continue to operate in emergency mode, with specialized equipment mobilized. Technical salt is being spread, and both primary and secondary roads are being cleaned in the capital and its surrounding areas.

The condition of the city and its adjacent territories is being monitored around the clock by Tbilisi’s Deputy Mayor Irakli Bendeliani, Tbilservice Group Director Giorgi Papava, district governors, and the heads of relevant services.

“Since the evening of February 26, we have been working in emergency mode. Roads are being continuously cleaned of snow by specialized vehicles, outdoor lighting and damaged electricity networks and cables are being restored, and trees and branches broken by snow are being processed and removed. All relevant municipal services, including the Tbilservice Group, Ecoservice Group, and district administrations, are fully mobilized,” – noted Giorgi Papava.

We urge the public to use cars equipped with winter tires during heavy snowfall.
