New Specialized Vehicles
06 March, 2026
The vehicle fleet of Tbilservice Group has been renewed with 22 units of specialized vehicles. The procurement was carried out in two stages, within which 10, 15, and 21 cubic meter garbage trucks of the brands MAN and Renault, as well as waste-transport vehicles (so-called hook lift trucks) of the brand Ford, were delivered to the capital.
The new equipment was inspected by the Mayor of Tbilisi, Kakha Kaladze, together with Deputy Mayor Irakli Bendelian and the Director of Tbilservice Group, Giorgi Papava.
“Tbilservice Group has purchased 22 units of special equipment. In addition, this year we expect 40 more units of machinery, which will further improve the efficient functioning of this service. For us, it is extremely important that waste is collected on time and efficiently. The city must always remain clean and well-organized, and the availability and renewal of appropriate equipment play a crucial role in this. After this procurement, more than 40% of the equipment at Tbilservice Group will be renewed, which is very positive and welcome. We will continue working in this direction because, as I mentioned, it is important for us that the city remains clean and orderly,” - noted Kakha Kaladze.
It is noteworthy that the total value of the vehicles delivered under both tenders amounts to 8 628 673 GEL, while the supplier companies are GT Group LLC and Tegeta Motors LLC.
This year, Tbilservice Group will also purchase additional garbage trucks and other types of equipment. The relevant tenders have already been announced, and the vehicles will be delivered to the capital at different stages throughout the year.
As a result of renewing the vehicle fleet in the cleaning sector, the waste collection process and related services across Tbilisi will gradually improve.
