Within the framework of the street lighting modernization project, a gradual replacement of sodium lamps with LED-type lights is planned throughout the capital in the near future. The installation of modern and energy-efficient LED lighting is expected to reduce annual electricity costs by approximately 9 million GEL. Additionally, operational expenses will also be significantly lowered.

As part of the project, the Director of Tbilservice Group LLC, Giorgi Papava, together with his Deputy, Vepkhvia Badzaghua, and the Head of the relevant department, undertook a working visit to the capital of Spain. During the visit to Madrid, the delegation toured the manufacturing facility of SHREDER, a Belgian company specializing in the production of LED lighting systems.

Tbilservice Group representatives were introduced to the full LED manufacturing process, technical specifications, and advanced systems for lighting control and monitoring.

In preparation for the announcement of the relevant tender, market research and the development of tender documentation are currently underway.
